Choristers

Fundamentals, Friendship and Fun!

Choristers are a fantastic ensemble for young singers of all backgrounds to sing fun music, grow as musicians and feel part of a large, supportive, inclusive, creative community. This ensemble is for singers in grades 3 and 4.

The Choristers are officially returning to in-person activities to start the 2022-2023 year!
​Register for either the full year (September-May) or just the fall semester (September-December).

Singers will:

• Establish fundamental skills that serve as a foundation for their musical future
• Learn the basics of reading music and listening skills
• Appreciate their voices for the amazing, creative instruments that they are
• Explore interesting and diverse topics in music culture, music in society, and music appreciation
• Learn about generosity and community
• Make new friends
• Celebrate their achievements together!

Weekly Schedule:

• Choristers: Grades 3–4, Mondays at 6–7:30pm @ GoggleWorks Center for the Arts
• Chorale: Grades 5–7, Mondays at 6–7:30pm @ GoggleWorks Center for the Arts
• MasterSingers: Grades 8–12, Sundays at 3:00–5:30pm @ Atonement Lutheran Church in Wyomissing

Events

• Choristers and Chorale: Summer Sing, July 25-29 @ Atonement Lutheran Church in Wyomissing
  • All BYC members in these ensembles are expected to attend Summer Sing at no additional cost.
• Concerts:
  • Sunday, November 20 at 4pm @ Atonement Lutheran Church
  • December, dates TBD: Holiday/Caroling Events
  • Sunday, February 26: Cabaret @ DoubleTree Hotel
  • Sunday, May 7 at 4pm @ Atonement Lutheran Church
